Chiropractic
Chiropractic deals with the relationship between the spine and nervous system. Accidents, stress or any other physical, emotional or chemical factor can result in misalignment of one or more vertebrae. Alleviating these misalignments through chiropractic adjustments allows your body to operate more efficiently, comfortably and optimally. In practice, chiropractic treatment has been proven successful in offering relief from many ailments including: headaches, migraines, lower back pain, neck pain, shoulder and knee injuries, stress tension and various sports injuries.

Registered Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is the manipulation of the soft tissue of the body to gain a therapeutic response. Soft tissue includes muscle, skin and connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and fascia. It is a form of treatment performed using Swedish massage techniques. The term ‘Swedish Massage’ refers to a variety of techniques that Massage Therapists use depending on your needs. The basic goal of massage therapy is to help the body heal itself and to increase health and wellbeing.
Effective in helping to support your fitness or athletic training, it alleviates the effects of stress, it increases muscle flexibility, improves joint mobility and health, helps to improve your immune system functioning, as well as helping to relieve a variety of painful conditions.

Contemporary Acupuncture
Contemporary acupuncture focuses on the practitioner’s knowledge of neuroanatomy, and relies on a thorough history and physical exam in order to apply treatment, consisting of fine needles and electro-stimulation. The resultant effects are a release of neurochemicals by the body in order to decrease/eliminate the pain sensation. Another mechanism that occurs is the neuromodulation of the nervous system. Individuals with chronic/long-lasting pain have an altered nervous system and acupuncture helps to restore maladaptive changes. It is highly effective for sport injuries, chronic pain, arthritis, muscle and joint pain and neuropathic pain with the goal of restoring functional capacity.

Active Release Therapy (A.R.T.)
Active Release Therapy (ART)© is a soft tissue technique that focuses on treating problems with muscle, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. The practitioner uses their hands in order to evaluate the tightness, tenderness and overall movement of the muscles, nerves, ligaments and tendons. Once a problem has been identified in a structure, a tension is then applied with a specific movement based on the functional anatomy of the injured tissue in question. It is effective treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), back pain, shoulder pain, headaches, knee injuries, plantar fasciitis, ankle sprains, tennis elbow, neck pain and nerve irritations.

Cranial Sacral Therapy
Cranial sacral therapy (also known as craniosacral therapy) is a gentle, noninvasive form of bodywork that addresses the bones of the head, spinal column and sacrum. The goal is to release compression in those areas which alleviates stress and pain.
Cranial sacral therapy seeks to restore the natural position of the bones and can decrease stress from chronic injuries as well as provide relief from migraine headaches, neck and back pain, temporomandibular joint disorder and more.
